Was a fan of Edwards when he was coming out of Pepperdine. Thought he was a good fit as a scoring 3. Saw him play with the Nets once and was sufficiently impressed but not blown away.
But with this extended run with the Kings, I’ve really like what I’ve seen. His defense and rebounding is way ahead of where I thought it was, and he’s a reliable spot up shooter. He’s got great length and works really hard. He’s in great condition.
I think there’s a reason why Brown is giving him some run early when guys like Dozier can’t get off the bench. Monte may have picked up a nice rotation piece for free.
Miller’s, I didn’t see it or I don’t understand the definition of reckless, which I may not in terms of a basketball definition. It may just be the league doesn’t want shooters to be landing on a foot and that is all it takes to be reckless.
After 16 years of playing to the level of our opponents, and completely giving up at the hint of adversity, I finally expect wins against inferior opponents. It’s a great feeling.
Mike’s point is all I had to say….I am looking at it again on DVR. You have to be right that if it happened at all it was on the way up and not as he was shooting. Derozan acted a bit to make it look like HB came under him again
I did the same thing and could see wher that might be a touch but when they show it from another angle, it seems clear that he doesn’t touch him., and Demar traveled, and that should’ve been called at least we won…
The best part of that Fox shot was the despair in the Bulls commentators’ voices when he crossed half court and was 1-on-1. They pretty much called it before he even attempted the shot.
Stacey King all but roasted Patrick Williams for not closing out on a hard double team on Fox. I was like, dayummmm.
You could also tell he was disappointed that the Bulls took so many 3’s given that the Kings don’t have rim protection given that he mentioned it at least 20 times in the 4th qtr. LOL
Cuban is trying to convince himself the Mavs still did the right thing in acquiring Kyrie. His skill set and Luka’s game overlap quite a bit particularly late in close games.
RPO, I have actually watched entire games on NBA TV and not realized I was watching a recorded game from the night before and switched channels and noticed one of the teams was playing a different team.
swish from three, HB …
Metu doing his best Giannis impression
Does Coby White have to do this to the Kings every game? What did the Kings ever do to him?
the Sacramento kings have arrived
So have I!
Go Fox! Let’s get some assists man!
Whatever…Lavine is injured all of the time. Glad he’s not on the Kings.
Jeeze Bulls’ offense is ugly.
Kings are playing sloppy. Come on…
sloppy Joe, slop-sloppy Joe …

Come on Fox. Jacking threes isn’t going to win this game.
And Fox wins it with a THREEEEEEE!
I think he heard you …
This did not age well. ????
I have a bad feeling about this…
Time for a few shots of Fireball. You will feel better, I promise. I do.
Reckless closeout my ass.
Miller’s, I didn’t see it or I don’t understand the definition of reckless, which I may not in terms of a basketball definition. It may just be the league doesn’t want shooters to be landing on a foot and that is all it takes to be reckless.
its the Zaza Pachulia rule
Yep. A shooter lands on a closing players foot that is a foul. Must also be reckless by definition.
Was HB closing? He did jump, but it looked to me that he landed where he had started.
Suppose a defender simply stands just inside the three point line and the shooter jumps into him. Is that a defensive foul?
Come on Kings. Finish this off.
The Bulls play weird.
Oh, what a clutch shot by Fox!
Kings really confidently and effortlessly put this Bulls team away
Effortlessly? I can’t buy that. Not in the NBA I can’t. Confidently? Absolutely.
After 16 years of playing to the level of our opponents, and completely giving up at the hint of adversity, I finally expect wins against inferior opponents. It’s a great feeling.
Fair point JW. It’s been a fun one this go around! Now if only these guys hit their FT’s to end this game! I’m ready for the cardiac Kings era to end!
lol nevermind
Clearly. I didn’t see contact but I got the Bulls feed.
I watched it several times, and could not see contact. I slowed it down, paused it.
Yep. That said, if Barnes and Edwards make all of their FT’s we aren’t really talking about Fox’s clutch shot.
I’d rather they have hit the FT’s.
Kings don’t even have to try anymore
Hit the FT men.
He hit his elbow smh
by this measure Sabonis and Fox should each shoot 100 FTs per game
De’Aaron my goodness
Looks like Fox gonna literally win this game jacking up a three! Ironic yes… Awesome yes.
First name Deaaron last name game winner
I’d say he had an impact.
HB going to buy Fox’s dinner tonight.
For the rest of the trip.
Through the playoffs.
Harrison did not foul him on that shot. I have slowed it down several times and he never touched him.. maybe I saw a bad angle
If you look close Barnes’ hand moves a bit as Derozan is going up. Ticky tack but a foul.
Mike’s point is all I had to say….I am looking at it again on DVR. You have to be right that if it happened at all it was on the way up and not as he was shooting. Derozan acted a bit to make it look like HB came under him again

In slow mo it does look like Derozan travelled. At least they won as you say.
I didn’t see it on the TV plays unless there was a tiny tiny touch as Derozan went up before the shot.
Umm. De’Aaron. Umm. What?
WTFOX!
G-Man soo excited for a 41 win season in 17 years. And stressing the SEVENTEEN. So happy for G-man and Kings fans everywhere.
Finish 9-6 and make it a 50 win season. Wouldn’t that be something.
I like that idea, but I believe we have to go 9-5 for 50-32
big fukin win
According to Fox its a nice fukin win

Lakers lost, Grizzlies lost tonight. A pretty good night for the Kings all things considered. Tomorrow ain’t going to be no french fry, though.
if it wasn’t a SEGABABA I’d say the Kings comfortably beat the Nets
The Nets aren’t that bad. They got back every important wing who isn’t a major star in the NBA I think in all those trades. LOL
Except Kessler Edwards
Ahahahhaha.
Getting off of those two cancerous players is a W in itself
Minnesota also lost to Boston as well.
41 win season!
Only 41 comments? Nail biter. Fox was so clutch. Make free throws and don’t foul Derozan shooting 3s. Nice comeback from 16 down.
Light the Beam! Make it comment #42!
Fox ruined the refs night. Hand him his clutch player of the year award already.

I particularly enjoyed that!
I expected a win going in, and was going to be incredibly disappointed if they lost to this Bulls team.
I’m happy that they didn’t disappoint me.
Monk had a huge role in this win, looking at the stats he hit 5 three point shots and changed the momentum in the 3rd and 4th quarter.
Wow. What a meltdown by Dallas in the final seconds. They give up an easy lob dunk to Keldon Johnson to tie the game in San Antonio. Going to OT. Wow.
You beat me to it. Did you see the last minute of this game…incredible.
Not the entirety, no. But I saw KJ missing 2 FT’s, Dallas giving up an easy hoop to Tre Jones as well.
What an undisciplined team.
Mavs just took over in OT. Both teams undisciplined. Which is unusual for Pop.
Yeah, no doubt JP. But the difference is that’s part of the learning experience for young guys. It’s not unexpected in SA’s case.
And what’s crazy JP? Dallas will likely win. The NBA man!
The Spurs just had an incredible series of events, busted plays, great plays and
frantic close out to tie the Mavs.
Can’t believe DAL was challenging us for the 3rd seed not to long ago.
Cuban is trying to convince himself the Mavs still did the right thing in acquiring Kyrie. His skill set and Luka’s game overlap quite a bit particularly late in close games.
Hmm… imagine forgetting that the game wasn’t on the west coast and then checking the scores and seeing the game was over.
… and that we won! 41 wins! Let’s get #42 ASAP!
Happy Days!
Tomorrow will be the first opportunity!
