Keegan Murray has sustained a mild calf strain and will be reevaluated in one week, according to a press release from the Sacramento Kings.
Murray left early in the game against the Detroit Pistons. Murray is averaging 14.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.5 steals this season. Though his numbers are slightly down in the month of December: 12.7 points, 6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.9 blocks (this is up!), and 1 steal.
Murray’s defensive abilities and being switchable at the forward position is vital for the Kings current roster construction. He will be missed out on the floor and luckily the injury doesn’t sound too serious, but by being out he is only helping the tank.
Here is to a a speedy recovery for Keegan.

Heal up. No need to hurry back
Yup. And a lot of players with calf issues lately. Tricky stuff.
Zero reason to rush, especially a calf. We all saw what happen to Hali in The Finals last season.
