Dennis Schroder has been suspended by the NBA for three games for “confronting and attempting to strike another player.” According to an NBA statement, it occurred 40 minutes after the loss to the Lakers on Dec. 28. Schroder sought out the player in the hallway of Crypto.com arena.
So, who might that player have been?
Luka Doncic.

What a weird season this is. Schroder plays with an edge that has helped him throughout his career, but a suspension doesn’t do him any favors. This clearly felt personal, and it wouldn’t be surprising if some of it stems from the EuroBasket over the offseason. Kings players clashing with Lakers players isn’t exactly new territory, just ask Doug Christie. In the grand scheme of things though, the suspension probably doesn’t change much, as this injury-riddled, roster-mess, tankathon of a season continues to plow forward.

To some degree I can understand losing your cool in the heat of the game and trash talk, but hitting the shower and getting ready to fight 40 minutes after the game? That’s crazy.
I guess DS tried to show Luka that he’s Tough? Not sure if it’s Competitive. It certainly isn’t Team-Oriented, nor Professional. But at least the league held him Accountable and Disciplined him.
