See you in the playoffs.
I don’t want the Warriors. I don’t want to deal with them if they are fully healthy with Wiggins back. I don’t want to deal with their fans in Golden One. I don’t want to deal with their fans in our community. I don’t want to deal with my East Bay family members if the Warriors should beat the Kings.
I’m just not very sure the Kings make it out of the first round and I really don’t want it to be at the hands of the Warriors.
This sounds like a personal problem, Adam.
Maybe with all the Warrior fans in Sacramento, the Kings will feel like they’re playing a road game and will play better! 😛
Bring me the Dubs and the Lakers. Exorcise all fan demons while playing with house money.
And 1 – If there are Dubs and Lakers fans at G1C, maybe it’ll sound a little more like a road game. The Kings are better on the road. Think outside the box.
Stolen from Twitter (who stole it from someone else):
(At my boss’s funeral kneeling and whispering at coffin):
“Who’s thinking outside the box now, Susan?”
This team is playing with house money. What I want is a competitive 1st rd series. Anything past that is gravy IMO.
let me “outside the box” at bit further…
I say bring out the brooms for any opponent in Round 1 – Lakers, Warriors, don’t matter much neither way
7-game series win over Fakers would provide some closure to many fans. Basketball gods I have never doubted you 😀 bring it on!
they’re weaker than they’ve ever been but that team knows how to navigate and win a 7-game series more than any other team even when they’re not at their best
I would hate to lose to any team but even more to Dubs or Fakers . Do agree that Kings should fear no team as all have flaws and beatable .
Sorry if it’s been shared here already. For those here who are Twitter-averse and/or pants-averse:
I think they are going to announce it at some point in the future.
I think you are going to stab someone with a point in the future.
(ducks, runs for it, files for witness-protection plan, makes out will, maxes out credit cards)
I’m not going to stab you with a knife Gonzo. I’m going to stab you with a dildo, Malcolm McDowell style. Then I’m going to terrorize as many Englishmen as possible before i get put in an electric chair tortured using electric shock therapy. I’m still figuring out how to gather the gang to pull that dildo part off, tho…..
Otherwise known as another day in the life. Stick that in your noodle and smoke it, you silly cat avatar fool!
a clockwork Orange Tabby?
I’ll allow it. But just this once.
“…maxes out credit cards”
“cards”=more than one! Numbers please.
Magic number is 1!
“17 years”….that’s like a playoff drought or something.
The Kings’ span of missing the playoffs from 2006 has literally lasted half my total life so far!
I’m not clear on the benefit of this. Aside from the archives/old posts, what’s the point?
His Zillerbucks were still lying around and he had to do something with them?
It was his baby at first and I can understand that he hated seeing all that going to waste. Good for Tom.
What’s the point in remembering old Kings? It’s the heritage of this site, the foundation. Maybe that means less to the fans that have not been around for the entire haul, but my guess is that the folks that were on the site back in ’06 think it’s pretty cool. I know I do.
Old Kings fans, eh?
Who doesn’t want to relive the good old Donte vs Omri discussions?
Shock and Hawes! Jimmermania!! And of course…
They’re not wearing pants!
That makes me feel better about the yoots, honestly.
GreivisVazquezFan would be a fun one to go back and look at lol
Those classic Summer Section Time Machine posts.
Ah, there’s a legacy member. Angry monkey!
Benefit? How about
Another wonderful and entertaining episode – you guys covered a lot of ground with this one – the playoffs and the regular season awards. Sweet!
I hope that in two weeks we will still be talking about Sacramento IN the playoffs.
First game will be either Saturday April 15 or April 16 – depending on opponent. If it’s another small market team like Minny or N’Awlins it will be early afternoon Saturday and if it’s the Lakers or Warriors, prime time Sunday would be my guess. Clippers – maybe, but Saturday night, same if Phoenix.
Yes, how sweet that would be ! Podcast aboutKings playoff success .
