Our old pal Drama is back in Sacramento following a report from Sam Amick and Shams Charania in The Athletic detailing Luke Walton’s future as head coach of the Kings, and it sounds like his tenure could be coming to an end sooner than anticipated. Jerry Reynolds, Will Griffith, and Tony Xypteras talk all about that report and more in the latest episode of The Kings Herald Show.

Mike D’Antoni is available and knows about getting into the Playoffs in the Western Conference. He has an established system like George Karl without actually being George Karl. He also has a connection with McNair from Houston.
Also, Marvin Bagley for Cash Considerations.
Jerry: “I read all the comments…”
(gulp)

“So about that British shorthair cat commenter….”
Why did Marvin play against the Pistons? It gives Luke an opportunity to push blame onto the front office. Look, I had to! The roster has no rebounders!
good show as always. Interesting developments with Metu. I haven’t been able to watch the last few games, but he has shown flashes before. Just, like you all have said before, not try to do too much. However I’ve been very impressed with some things Davion Mitchell does on offense. Makes good reads, keeps a live dribble in the paint, confident. Maybe some of the bad possessions are due to other things (eg., not having another playmaker on the court, stagnant offense in general, etc.)
Enjoyed the podcast a lot ! Some terrific insights and too bad Luke , Monte or Vivek does not listen !
“In the first thirteen games, there all of this support for Walton, McNair says he’s the guy to lead us to the playoffs, blah blah blah.” Paraphrased obviously.
I’m not clear why you’re trying to say that McNair comments from six months ago actually took place since this season began, but it’s a staggering rewrite of that history. Has McNair actually made any comments regarding Walton since the season started?
Any evidence otherwise ? Seems no one has asked if thoughts have changed or Monte has not answered ! His only statement on record is of support !
Yep.
And my question still stands.
