The Kings got off to an exciting start to the NBA Draft yesterday by selecting Darius Acuff Jr. with the 7th pick and then trading up from 34 to 29 to get UConn’s Alex Karaban, but the draft isn’t finished. The Second Round of the Draft is set to begin at 5:00 PM on ESPN. The Kings still have one more pick left as of now at 45, and we’ll see if they opt to stand pat, move up or down, or trade for perennial fan favorite “Cash Considerations”.

We’ll be sure to post any news on trades and picks but feel free to discuss the entire second round here.

I am convinced that Adam Silver, Rick Scott and Gollum were separated at birth.
Maliq Brown, Conwell, Sharp, Brazile are the guys i am looking for. I think only Brazile will be there at 45.
I’ll take any of those guys and add Baba Miller and Oweh in there as well.
Brazile, Saunders, and Baba are who I had at #34 and I think they’ll be gone by #45.
If we are swinging for the fences, go with Quadir Copeland.
So I guess Boston is still really trying rto move Jaylen Brown. Word from Sports Illustrated (pay wall) is they are hunting for a big and and are willing to move Brown to get it.
Sabonis, Hunter and likely a pick or two or Brown, Hauser, and Gonzalez works (I really like Gonzalez).
I think they either want a rim protector/switchable defender or a stretch 5 type of player.
So who like that would be available? Myles Turner?
I’m not sure about with Boston but I think Turner being available may hurt the Sabonis market.
