With 47.8% of the vote, Aday Mara is off the board for the Kings Herald Community Draft Board. He joins Yaxel Lendeborg, Brayden Burries, Mikel Brown Jr., Keaton Wagler, Kingston Flemings, Darius Acuff Jr., Darryn Peterson, Caleb Wilson, Cameron Boozer and AJ Dybantsa off the board.
This is the readership’s opportunity to create a democratic draft board which represents the order in which we as a collective would like the Kings’ draft board to look like. It does not represent the desires of individual writers or fans, but some semblance of the community’s collective thinking.
When a choice comes up, pick who you’d want the Kings to pick given all the players remaining. Note: THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT. This is a draft board, a ranked list of prospects you’d like to see the Kings pick. In other words, if we were the Kings front office, when our pick came up, we’d take the top name left on our board. So pick your choice, not who you think Scott Perry or anyone else would choose in a slot.
Explain your choice in the comments, and lobby for who should be added to the next pick’s choices. We’ll be doing this until the end of this week.

Taking Philon here. If he was a Freshman he’d be right up there with the other Freshman guards in my opinion.
Also just FYI we’ll take this through the end of the week since voter interest seems to be dying down and then we’ll have just one week or so till draft anyway.
High end Immanuel Quickley
Low end. Bones Hyland
Carr. The bigger wing player with 3&D potential is a rare commodity in the NBA.
Knowing the Kings, they will take the 6’5 SG and immediately play him at SF or PF. That is the King’s way.
Voted Okorie again. See previous.
Lobbying to add Dailyn Swain. A young junior, just two months older than Burries. Meets the eye test. Like Tyreke in the past, Swain excels at the “horizontal” more than the “vert” but he’s got some hops.
How can I sell this to you guys? Ceiling: how about a cross between SGA and Donte Greene (I’ll think of something else)?
Going Carr here, with Philon on deck. Pretty sure this won’t be the last time he’s on the board, but think of the children!!! Carr for kids!
I like Cam Carr as well, however I am concerned regarding his slight frame (#184). Who knows – maybe he is the next Keon Ellis. Oh wait, that means they won’t play him. Never mind.
Injury history is why. ACL/Knee/swelling shut down for a year. Maybe he’ll Michael Porter, Jr. his way to a nice NBA career. Maybe he’ll the second coming of Harry Giles, III. Drafting at 20? I guess. In the lottery – bigger risk.
I am going with Morez Johnson, Jr. A defensive presence, a big (BIG at 6’9″ and 251 el bees) who rebounds. Was assigned to backcourt and frontcourt defensive assignments for Michigan (sorry Andy Sims) and someone who plays tough D to aid (especially Maxime) is a big need. Buck Williams, Draymond, OG, Scottie Barnes, Fantasy Willie Caulie Steinie – who do the Kangz have like that? No one (IMO, it isn’t quite Keegan, but close).
I agree. Good rim runner too. Shows some potential on offense.
Baby you can drive my Carr! Maybe he’s gonna be a star.
