Too bad that Adelman isn’t the coach ! Could see 40 plus wins for certain ! ????
Re: Tristan Thompson’s block in that video:
If I’m not mistaken, after being hounded by Fox, Davion lobs it over to Alex Len who then gets blocked by Tristan Thompson.
That absolutely could have been. All I know was he came away from that play flexing and barking like a man who just saved the season with his defense. I dunno if I’ve ever seen Marv’s energy that high if it wasn’t a dunk at the California Classic.
–I think I could be totally wrong. Looks like maybe Davion attempted a layup, hit the rim, and Len got the rebound and tried to salvage the play with a last second shot. Then Tristan blocks him. Not sure anymore. Someone help us out here.
Yeah, Tristan is definitely going to inject some passion into this team. 😀
I think my favorite part about that clip is at the end, Tristan Thompson turns around seemingly reacting to someone saying something contrary, and he barks back.
Would loved to have had Tristan Thompson out there when Valenciunas pulled that garbage on Metu.

They fucking deserved that game.
RIght? That bothered me more than any other single thing last season.
Even my 76 year old mom texted me right after and asked why didn’t a king at least go get in his face.
I hope he brings some snarl to the team this year. As Jerry says, sometimes you need to knock a guys dick into the dirt.
Yeah, I know violence isn’t the answer (“except for the times that it is” -Matt Barnes), but the team should’ve at least got in his face and shown that they had Metu’s back.
I want that on a T-shirt.
If TKH makes that a T-shirt, I will buy one for every day of the week.
On a side note: What the hell kind of offense is that? I mean, it’s hard to say too much not being in the gym and knowing specifically what they’re working on, but seriously…
On De’Aaron checking Davion: Steel sharpens steel!!
(at 40:38) Will….
Good session, everyone, a lot of interesting takes and stuff to chew on. I think that Will may have short in his microphone, but he can just trade in the Bluesmobile to get a new one.
It’s really kind of astonishing how much Jerry’s manner of speech reminds me of my dad’s. The pater familias doesn’t have any twang in his delivery, but some of the word choices, pacing and little tics really are similar. I’m sure that factors into my considerable enjoyment of Jerry Reynolds.
Midwestern boys, I guess.
plot twist!
Darth Jerry:
Pros: Using the force, making out with my sister
Cons: Getting my arm chopped off, Yoda smells like death
Andy, did I have audio issues this time around??
The impression that I got was that you may have been moving away from the mic at times, and that the compression settings in your gear may have been trying to squash what it perceived as background sounds. If that’s the case, you can change the threshold, which will allow you to not sit perfectly still and still be heard.
I’m a bit of a fidgeter myself.
I’m assuming that everything is digital, which could mean that there are presets that might have been inadvertently enabled. You may need to fool around with it to see if you can sort it out. I’m picturing an audio program that has a mixer that you can manipulate to get the mix you want. Have a look at anything related to the mic input, but also whether anything is being applied to that audio before it leaves the mixer.
If you’re just using zoom or something, I apologize for wasting your time with this mumbo-jumbo
Chocolate Rain probably has a youtube tutorial out there somewhere…
If you don’t have a compressor, use your hand!
Not sure if everyone already saw this? Bagley not in the rotation.
Exactly why they should have traded him before last year or anytime. He’s always been bad and no amount of time with the team Could “up” his value. The FO fucking blew it.
Ive been yelling about getting rid of him before the league realized Bagely is practically useless and always injured. Fuck Vivek.

As Jerry mentions in the podcast, (paraphrapsing, and he’s not specifically referencing Bagley, but…):
sometimes you have to move on because there’s nothing there.
To my eye, there’s been nothing there since the moment he was drafted. Since the first time I saw him play in summer league.
Warriors look good. Curry’s gravity can’t be properly quantified with any metrics
Agree, and still believe Neminja is a much better player than Thompson, Bagley, or Len ! Kerr will most likely use him correctly and prove it !
