The 0-5 Kings head to Memphis to face the unbeaten Grizzlies, having allowed at least 120 points in every game this season.

It’s Halloween, but Kings fans don’t need horror movies or a haunted house for a fright this year. Watching Sacramento’s defense is frightening enough.

That’s right, the Sacramento Kings are back in action Saturday against the 5-0 Memphis Grizzlies. The Kings enter the game at 0-5 following a 132-120 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Memphis, meanwhile, is 5-0 and already dispatched the Kings 123-112 less than a week ago.

Who: Sacramento Kings (0-5) vs. Memphis Grizzlies (5-0)Where: FedExForum, Memphis, TNWhen: Saturday, October 31, 5 PM PST
Watch: NBC Sports California / NBA League PassSacramento’s defense remains a nightmare. Through five games, the Kings are allowing 126.8 points per game while scoring just 110.2 themselves. Seems bad. They have given up at least 120 points in every game, including 132 against a bad Pelicans team, which shot nearly 58% from the field and scored 80 points in the paint.

Head coach Doug Christie’s job apparently isn’t in jeopardy. Talk about a scary Kangz ghost story.

But the treat to all of these tricks continues to be Darius Acuff Jr., who is coming off the best all-around performance of his young career. Through five games, the rookie is averaging 24 points and 6.6 assists. His development is by far the most interesting thing about this team.

Memphis has its own star rookie in Cameron Boozer, who is averaging 15.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists. The Grizzlies are averaging 118.2 points while allowing just 106.2.

The Kings will again be without Keegan Murray, Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell, leaving them thin in the front court. As usual, Sacramento will need another productive outing from Domantas Sabonis to have any chance.

The scariest part of this Halloween matchup isn’t the 5-0 Grizzlies. It’s that Sacramento’s season is only five games old, and the nightmare has just begun.

Prediction: Grizzlies 126, Kings 108.

Last game with the Griz we let slip
Though the loss was hardly a blip.
So right from the start,
We’d have to play smart
Though I don’t think that’s in this team’s script!

I said this in other places but i still find it weird. If you rank the Kings players from best offensive payer to worst and the read ut from bottom to top its pretty much best defensive player to worst.
