You know it's all well and good that LeBron James finally brought a championship to Cleveland, but the real question on everyone's minds is if the Kings can retake the Summer League crown after faltering last year. With that in mind, let's take a look at this year's Summer League Schedule which will be broadcast on ESPN platforms and NBA TV this year.
July 8th vs. Toronto Raptors at 7 p.m. PDT (Cox Pavilion)
July 10th vs. Houston Rockets at 3:30 p.m. PDT (Thomas & Mack Center)
July 11th, vs. New Orleans Pelicans at 7:30 p.m. PDT (Cox Pavilion)
Like the last couple years, the Vegas Summer League will be a tournament format in which all teams play at least five games. After the first three, seeding and placement for the rest of the games will be decided. If the Kings played the whole tournament, they'd play 7 games, with the final one on July 18th.
Sacramento's Summer League team will likely feature Willie Cauley-Stein, Duje Dukan, the rookies selected from this year's draft and probably Jaleel Cousins among others.
