Go Kings!
What a pass from MaIik to Domas!
Richardson and Collins would be nice additions to the Kings.
It’s Domas’ world and we’re living in it! That 17 pts has to be a high for him in a qtr since arriving in Sac.
Can we please just blow someone away.
It can happen….wait for the 2nd half
Malik Monk with a beautiful dunk. Plus….3 steals
Great to see Malik playing well tonight.
Seems more in control tonight.
Something to that.
I like Mike Browns timeout coaching. I haven’t seen that at this level.
Only 11 posts at the half? Let’s go people!!
They’ll go when they get home
It’s also the Spurs.
That’s true but who doesn’t like to see a win?
It’s expected for many. So the only thing to discuss is if they lose. Otherwise, nothing to see here citizens.
Move along…..move along…..move along little dogies move along
46 to 32 paint points advantage Sac. 10-2 Points off Turnovers advantage Sac. San Antonio has a bench points advantage 34-17 but that’s due to missing Tre Jones and Jeremy Sochan.
Did I just see Keegan attack the rim in transition?!?!? What?!?!?!?
Aaaand then missed both free throws
Goose egg for the rook so far
He’s not having his finest game so far. Mike Brown has called 2 time outs to coach him.
You can see Keegan iterating with every attempt. Kid is willing to fail in order to get it right the next time. He’ll be a very good basketball player one day.
Well put.
So what? He’s an 80% FT shooter. That’s not the important part.
Only 16% sitting from 3 in the first half. Looks like the long ball is still bewildering the team.
jeez man what do they gotta do to hit a damn 3 on this road trip.
Yell bibbity bobbitty boo at the rims.
Murray tried to throw it down!!!
That was a ballsy bounce pass
Brilliant though. He knew Domas was open.
Domas/Fox carrying them with the team still struggling from the perimeter. Really like how aggressive Fox came out to start the game and how engaged he’s been on the defensive end all game
Me too. Like how he’s attacking Richardson on the offensive end.
Another awesome pass by Fox to Domas
Sucks to see Keegan struggle like this. He’s making good plays and getting open looks, just nothing falling for him.
Keegan shot like 50% from 3PT for most of January so you knew a cold spell was gonna hit him. Nobody else is finding their shot from deep right now either unfortunately
Monk/Domas 2 man game is destroying the Spurs
SA bench has 51 points out of 78. That’s insane
Not really. Richardson and Branham are playing starters minutes due to Tre Jones and Jeremy Sochan missing most of the game due to injuries.
They have some good players, just not that star yet
They lost 2 of their starters in the 1st quarter so that plays a big role
Malik and Harrison missed good looks at the rim. Ay ay ay.
Kings are way up in paint points 62-44 and points off turnovers 18-6. Why they are up by 5.
Fox and Domas and Monk carrying the team inside the paint since all of our shooters forgot how to shoot a three at the same time
Terrible shooting from everyone besides Fox and Domas
Why in gods name is Metu shooting 3’s? The Kings 3PT shooting is bad enough already today
The only thing that came out of my mouth was why is Metu shooting threes
Collins is soon much better than any backup C the kings have
Yay! A 3!
Lyles needed to take that open 3 even with how poor they’ve been from deep today. Whole possession stalled after he passed and then it ended with him having to rush a contested corner 3 in the end
Fox is taking some contact on defense today
I hate flopping. Richardson fouled De’Aaron but jeesh…. it shouldn’t take those kind of theatrics to get the refs attention.
And he might get it
Fox wants that DPOG chain
Ja “I’m fine in the West” Morant and his Grizzlies are now currently….15-16 vs the West this season
Guessing Dame out played him, too.
He did
Spurs helping the Kings big time with all their turnovers.
Big 3 by Monk
Holy farq! The bench is doing their best to lose this game. Outscored 61-26 with six and a half min left in the game.
Monk is a crazy athlete
Monk almost ended Poeltel’s career
Malik trying to embarrass Jakob Poeltl. LOL
4th quarter Fox is inevitable
Barnes has finally shown up
Yea I wouldn’t trade for Huertl for anything significant
The better team taking over and putting the game out of reach down the stretch.
Damn, that would have been the dagger from Keegan
At least he isn’t shying away. Getting good looks just not falling
Yay Keegan scored
Good to see the Kings win 2 straight games when their 3PT shooting isn’t there. Don’t know what their exact record is but I know it’s terrible when they shoot below 30% from deep.
The cynic in me says: “This game was way closer than it should have been. The Kings can’t keep letting bad teams hang around or it’s going to bite them. Maybe they’re just not that good.”
The optimist in me says: “The Kings would’ve lost this game, and the game before it, in any of the prior 16 years due to plain lack of talent, coaching, and/or focus. They’re fine.”
Objectively, I think the optimist is more correct here.
I think the Spurs aren’t as bad as their record, and Branham/Richardson/Collins probably had their best games of the season. I’m happy the Kings won all things considered.
Other than Sabonis and Fox who dominated the game, who were the next 3 best players for the Kings? Monk and Barnes I’ll grant you. After that….. yeah.
That’s a trick question. I’d go with Keegan just because of his boards
Golden State and Minnesota in OT…..
Sabanaaaas is so strong yeh!
LTB!!
