The Kings are the least likable team in pro sports. Unfortunate. They used to be lovable.
You’d think someone so unlikable would have a better read on these things. But, nope.
I feel like Jimmy Butler is just going to destroy the Kings today, The last time the Kings played a team with a legit all-star was Dec. 20th against the Warriors. In fact they’ve only played a team with an all-star just 3 times in December. The Wiz with Beal on Dec. 15th and the Clippers Dec. 4th with PG13. That’s it…they’ve faced just 3 legit all-stars during the month of December.

I just want to know what their dynamic is like. Who is doing most of the talking? Is Vivek pointing things out to Monte like he knows what he’s talking about? Is Monte just smiling and nodding?
I look to see. So far not a lot of talking.
How do you talk to a droid when you’re not in a photo op? Asking for a friend.
You should randomly say rather loudy, “Oh wow, Ben Simmons and Westbrook just got traded!” then see if Monte reacts at all. If he doesn’t immediately pull out his phone to see what is going on, then we know we are screwed.
I’m gonna do that in the third period during a timeout.

Kings stellar at talent evaluation and building
Miami one of the best organizations in the league at developing talent. Herro, Robinson, Bam, etc. The Culture is First rate.
Yup, if there were any team to salvage Stauskas and Guy’s career it would be Miami.

D. Jones may not get the “chemistry” like Tyrese and Holmes…
But D. Jones is tall enough to play the 5, run the floor well, and can finish the basket through contact……
Hey, why not keep putting D. Jones in the starting lineup.
He’s going to be in the starting lineup for awhile. But the chemistry issue is a real one.
There’s no simple answer to what ails this team.
If Bam was playing, it would be a non issue. Jones is looking good against a guy called up from the G League, Yurtseven.
Bam’s not playing so this is moot. Probably right but it matters not.
The fact that a mostly healthy Kings team eked out a win at home against a team missing roughly half of its rotation is not exactly a confidence booster.
Or maybe it is, the way the team has played this year?
