It’s unsurprising that the Kings wanted to keep Jones around a little longer. Richaun Holmes is out at least one more game with an injury, and Jones has been starting for the Kings in his absence.
Jones has proven to be a capable big man for the Kings, despite stat totals that don’t leap off the page. In 3 games (2 starts), Jones is averaging 2.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
I mean Why?
It’s only ten days…
Cause that was an eye popping 10 day stint
We need depth at PF & C. The west is a beast.
Can they sign him to be interim head coach next?
Yeah, whatever, nevermind
Big, mobile body for the win.
I wanna know why he only played 5 mins last night ?
Because this organization keeps signing players with no concrete plans.
Thay pay them but there is no development plans or playing time – even in a losing season – to evaluate if they are here for a long term or not.
Kings ABC moves:
a) sign
b) sit on the bench
c) trade or waive
rinse and repeat. faiing to see if a player can really play or not!
Jones is a capable big man, Whiteside is terrible

He’s done more in the NBA than Woodard and Ramsey combined, and they both got multi-year, guaranteed contracts
I would like to sign Nerlens Noel in the offseason.
