A lot has changed since the Kings last played. Buddy Hield is now your reigning 3 Point champion, we’ve announced The Kings Herald, and Sam Amick has reported that Vlade Divac a may be on the hot seat. After a nice little break, we’re back in action. The Kings will be reminded of how quickly other franchises manage to rebuild as they face the playoff-bound Memphis Grizzlies. Led by a talented young point guard and a versatile young big man, the Grizzlies are everything the Kings thought they would be.
Let’s talk Kings basketball.

For Your Consideration
The Sacramento Kings have 28 games left to show the fans that there’s something worth believing in. De’Aaron Fox was on a roll since the start of the new year, and we hope he can continue that momentum after a week off. The Kings will still be without Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley as they continue to deal with injuries. We should get our first look at Jabari Parker tonight, but Alex Len will probably still be out.
Despite how bleak things feel, the Kings won’t operate as though the season is over. There’s little incentive to tank, as this draft class lacks top-tier prospects. There will be stars, for sure, but there’s nobody at the top of the draft board that teams are eagerly pining for. The Kings also lack the internal incentives to tank. Luke Walton is going to continue coaching with a goal of keeping his job. The front office is going to push for this season to be as successful as possible so they can keep their jobs. If Bagley plays again this season, he’ll be featured heavily. That’s as close as this team will get to tanking.
Hopefully this team can show us something worth getting excited about.
