The Kings are buying out Anthony Tolliver, per report

Curious to see how the Kings use the roster spot

The Sacramento Kings are buying out Anthony Tolliver, according to a report from The Athletic’s Sham Charania.

Tolliver came to Sacramento with Kent Bazemore as part of the trade that sent out Trevor Ariza. Tolliver has played in just one of the Kings’ last 8 games.

Tolliver’s exit is largely inconsequential. What will be interesting to see if what the Kings have planned for the roster spot. The Kings could bring DaQuan Jeffries onto the regular roster. Jeffries is on a two-way contract but has been playing well in Stockton as of late.

The Kings could also use the spot to bring back Eric Mika, who had been on a 10-day contract but had to be waived to complete the trade with the Hawks the brought in Alex Len and Jabari Parker.
