Howdy!
As you could probably tell by who is posting the show, and the show title, I’ve taken over the Sactown Royalty show from Greg, who is undoubtedly the best.
What this ultimately boils down to is that Greg is an adult with real responsibilities, and I am an adult by definition only with no responsibilities, so you’re stuck with me from here on out! In all seriousness, I wanted to extend another extreme thank you to Greg for handing the show off to me. He created this thing 116 episodes ago, built up a listenership, and extended the offer for me to take it over and see how much we can grow this thing. Greg is a good dude. Great, even.
With that being said, there will be some growing pains here. I, Tony Xypteras, have never hosted a show before. I’ve never produced a show before. I’ve never booked guests. I’ve never had to interview people for an extended period of time. This is my plea to bear with me. It might be bumpy.
With that being said part deux, I’m excited! And schedule permitting, we should have a new podcast up here every week moving forward.
Joining me on the show this week was our very own Brad Geiser, who I must also thank for being my first podcast guinea pig. Due to some unforeseen-but-predictable tech issues, we recorded this one on July 5th, but some posting problems resulted in this horrible delay. For context, this was recorded pre-Vince Carter signing, and pre-summer league, but I think we made up for it with a hot Don Cheadle vs. Terrence Howard debate.
Without further ado, here is episode 117 of the Sactown Royalty Show:
And here’s the obligatory ‘Subscribe to us on iTunes or on Stitcher!’ Any and all feedback would be particularly helpful during this transition, so if you listened and have any of that, I’d love to hear it. Ratings and comments on iTunes also really help us out with promoting the show, but you already knew that.
Audible.com didn’t bail on us yet, however I do not think they know that Greg isn’t hosting anymore. To get your free 30-day trial and a free audiobook, sign up here. Using that particular link gets you the special offer, and let's them know you heard about them through our show.
And most importantly, thank you for listening.
