Zach Collins working out for the Kings on Sunday

Collins is projected to be the first center taken in the draft.

The Kings announced another solo prospect workout this weekend, this time with Gonzaga center Zach Collins. Collins is projected to be the first center taken off the board, and could easily be in play for the Kings at 10.

Collins is a rare lottery prospect in that he spent the majority of his collegiate season coming off the bench behind Przemek Karnowski. He still managed to make a big impact when he was on the floor, both as an efficient scorer and rim protector. In Gonzaga’s Final Four victory against South Carolina, Collins put together his best performance, totaling 14 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks in just 23 minutes. However he had problems with foul trouble all season, and fouled out of the title game after just 14 minutes (still managing to put together an impressive line of 9 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks in that time).
