The Sacramento Kings announced Saturday that they’ve signed JaKarr Sampson to a two-way contract. The contract allows Sampson to play for both the Sacramento Kings and Reno Bighorns this coming season. Sampson played on the Kings summer league team, and stood out as a player many fans hoped the Kings could retain the rights to.

Sampson spent last season with the Iowa Energy in the D-League, putting up over 15 points per game. Sampson has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets.
