The Sacramento Kings are using their second and final two-way slot to sign Chimezie Metu, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Metu was part of the Kings’ training camp roster this season, but they waived him on Monday.
Now, after clearing waivers, it appears Metu is headed back to Sacramento, assuming he ever left:

In four appearances with the Kings in the preseason, Metu averaged 6 points on 56.3% shooting from the field, and 2.3 rebounds per game while averaging 7.4 minutes per game. For his career, he’s averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.
Metu was the No. 49 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
