The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook has released over/unders for all 30 NBA teams, and they’ve slotted the Sacramento Kings at 28.5 wins. This falls pretty closely in line with the 27.4 wins projected by ESPN’s Kevin Pelton and his statistical projections. 28.5 seems like a pretty fair mark for the Kings. I could easily see the Kings ending up someone close to 28 or 29 wins, and the line should generate betting action on either side, which is a sports book’s ultimate goal.
ESPN sorted the odds out by division, and you can see all 30 NBA teams here. Via ESPN:
Some notable teams in the range with the Kings include the Suns at 28.5, the Atlanta Hawks at 25.5, the Chicago Bulls at 21.5, the Brooklyn Nets at 28.5. I agree with this assessment, that the Hawks and Bulls will be the worst two teams with the Kings, Suns and Nets all finishing in close proximity.
What do you think? Did Vegas get it right? And let’s put this to a poll, where would you put your money?
