Ever since the murder of George Floyd, Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes has put his money where his mouth is.

Barnes will donate $200,000 to help fight police brutality, and racial inequality in America. He is donating $25,000 for each of the eight games the Kings are playing in the NBA restart. The organizations that will receive the funding are:

Barnes has been very active in social just causes over the past few months and joined the Black Lives Matter protests often in Sacramento prior to making the trip to Orlando, Florida, to join his teammates.

Even though Sacramento has looked sluggish over its first two losses, it’s good to see some positive news from the team.
