Hey everyone,

As many of you know, Sactown Royalty went through a pretty massive change almost 16 months ago now, and while me and my colleagues have tried our best to keep you all updated on the team you love, we’ve been cognizant of the fact that there’s a key element missing from this site: the fan voice.

Fortunately, we’ve gotten to the point where we can start giving this site back to who it’s always belonged to: you, Kings fans. We are looking to add a few paid contractors to our staff to help with day-to-day news coverage, game recaps and editorials, among other things we can build on. These are paid positions that vary based on experience and role.

Lead contributor

This person will be responsible for helping me with the day-to-day coverage of the team, which includes, but isn’t limited to, previews, practice reports, recaps and postgame reports during the season. In the offseason, it’s a free-for-all, which is another reason this role is so important!

Analyst

If you’re someone who likes writing long-form stories about team trends — good and bad — or teams needs, you’re in luck because I’m looking for someone that can write weekly, in-depth stories about the Kings throughout the season. This is another paid position, but it comes with less responsibility during the week.
