The Sacramento Kings announced Friday that they’ve signed Cody Demps to a 10-day contract.

From the Kings:

It’s a cool story to go from playing at Sac State to playing in Reno and Stockton for the Kings G League affiliate to getting a contract with the Sacramento Kings.

I’m not sure what prompted this move by the Kings at this point in the season. The Kings certainly don’t lack depth at either guard position. I’d guess the Kings wanted another player for practices and to get a little closer look at a player who has performed well in Stockton.
