After a year of waiting, Bogdan Bogdanovic is finally a Sacramento King. The Kings inked the Serbian guard to a contract today in Las Vegas. That contract is expected to be for 3 years and $27 million, a good deal less than the $36 million that was initially reported.

In Bogdanovic, the Kings have acquired one of Europe’s brightest stars, and another talented young Shooting Guard to develop along with Buddy Hield and Malachi Richardson. Bogdanovic is coming off his best season yet and now has his eyes set on making his mark in the NBA like his idols Vlade and Peja before him.

The Kings also inked second round pick Frank Mason III to a contract yesterday. Unlike first round picks, second rounders don’t have a guaranteed contract and have to earn their spot on the team. I never doubted that the Kings would sign Mason to an official contract as they seem to love him, but it’s nice to see it become official. No details on Mason’s contract have been made available as of yet.

With the additions of Bogdanovic and Mason III, the Kings main roster is officially set at 15 players.
