The NBA has reviewed and rescinded two of DeMarcus Cousins’ technical fouls from earlier this season, reducing his season total from 10 to 8 before. The Sacramento Kings center still is among the league leaders in techs. John Wall has eight as well, and Russell Westbrook has seven.
Talking with Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee, Cousins had this to say:
One of the fouls rescinded was the result of a double technical issued when Cousins was trash talking with Laker’s assistant coach Brian Shaw on December 12th. Shaw’s technical was also rescinded by the league.
Players earn an automatic suspension after their 16th technical of the season. Cousins is still on pace to earn at least one suspension this season, but this should push that out a little longer.
