Butler isn't the player he once was, but he's a player with playoff experience, and is known as a strong presence in the locker room. We don't know how this offseason's moves might translate to wins, but the Kings have certainly added players who have been in winning organizations and know what it takes to succeed in the NBA.

We don't yet know the specifics of the contract for Butler. I'm curious to see if it took the remaining cap space, or if even more moves are coming. Quick, someone find Vivek to see if he's shaved.

I like this Butler at this price. And for those keeping track at home, this mean the Kings still have about $2 million in cap space. We might not be done yet.

Update 2: I'm not smart. Two years, $3 million total, not $3 million per year, means the Kings have about $3.5 million in remaining cap. Should definitely be another move brewing.
