Reno Bighorns trade Sim Bhullar to Raptors 905

Bhullar appeared in three games for the Sacramento Kings last season, becoming the first player of Indian descent to play in an NBA game.

Bhullar spent most of last year in Reno, where he developed surprisingly well. Bhullar entered the season nowhere near game shape, even by D League standards. He worked his way into shape, and averaged over 25 minutes per game. That's no small feat on a team that plays as fast as the Bighorns did. He averaged 10.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and a whopping 3.87 blocks per game.

Bhullar holds additional appeal for the Raptors 905, in that Bhullar is a member of the Canadian National Team, and should draw local interest from Canadian basketball fans.
