Reno Bighorns to hold open tryouts in Sacramento next Sunday

By | 0 Comments | Mar 2, 2019

Think you have what it takes to play in the pros?

The Reno Bighorns, Sacramento's D-League affiliate, are holding open tryouts in Sacramento at the Kings Practice Facility next Sunday. The tryouts will be from 12pm to 6pm and you can get in by calling the Reno Bighorns office and submitting a $150 fee. Otherwise you can show up at the door, but then the fee goes up to $200.

The Bighorns can bring up to as many as five players to training camp from open tryouts, and last year four actually made the team, including Kings Summer League standout Ra'Shad James and guard K.C. Rivers, who recently signed with Real Madrid. There are plenty of roster spots on the Bighorns roster as only two players are currently returning from last year's squad.

If you're interested, or know any one else that is interested, you can call the Reno Bighorns office at (775) 853-8220.
