In news that should surprise absolutely no one who has followed the Kings for the last few seasons, the Kings announced today that they have signed David Stockton and Reggie Hearn to the team while waiving guard Marcus Williams.

This is the third straight seasons in which the Kings have signed Stockton to a training camp deal, and he even played on the main squad for a little while towards the end of the 2015 season. Stockton and Hearn have both been mainstays for the Reno Bighorns, and this move goes ahead and helps secure both of them to stay with the Bighorns this year (as the final two players waived can be assigned to a team’s G-League affiliate).

Stockton has averaged 18.6 points, 7.8 assists and 1.7 steals in three seasons of action for the Bighorns. Hearn has been with the Bighorns for essentially the same amount of time and averaged a career-high 13.5 points including 44.2% from three for Reno last season.
