The rumors keep coming. The latest trade rumor is that the Sacramento Kings could be trying to acquire Andre Drummond from the Detroit Pistons. On it’s surface, this is a little bit of a head scratcher. In fact, when it was first reported, I dismissed it since the original source was a Detroit Lions podcaster who currently does a radio show in Cleveland. Yeah.
Hearing from a pretty reliable source that Sacramento showing big interest in Andre Drummond. We'll see if anything happens with it.

But it was shared by Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, who I consider very credible. I asked him if we should consider Dery reputable, to which he responded:
One, I know they've asked about Drummond at least twice. Two, Scott Perry was in on the drafting of Drummond. It makes sense.

The Scott Perry connection is something I hadn’t considered or realized. We’ll keep our eyes on this, but in the meantime let’s see what you all can come up with as the trade package.
My first thought was Kosta Koufos and Arron Afflalo for Drummond. Afflalo could be waived for cap relief and Koufos would provide a solid big man in return. Mostly I just can’t fathom a trade for Drummond that doesn’t unload at least one big man.
