NBA Free Agency: Kings offer Iguodala 4-year, $56 million contract, per report

The Sacramento Kings have offered Andre Iguodala a 4-year contract worth approximately $56 million. This ain't your normal Kings offseason.

For me, I'm an outspoken fan of Iguodala. I'll be ecstatic if he signs here, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet. And I'll understand if the team chooses Iguodala over Tyreke. Andre is older, at 30 years old next season, but the age of 30 is no longer the checkpoint for careers to end as it once was. Plenty of stars have remained productive well past the age of 30.

The biggest knock against Iguodala is his shooting. He's a career 46% shooter, and shot just 57.4% from the free throw line last season. But Iguaodala is an elite defender, is athletic, brings true veteran leadership, and is an excellent passer. He would presumably pair well with Ben McLemore.

One thing is abundantly clear: this is not your usual Sacramento Kings offseason.
