NBA Draft: Kings trade 10th pick to Portland for picks 15 and 20

We have a trade!

The Sacramento Kings have traded the 10th pick in the NBA Draft to the Portland Trail Blazers for the 15th and 20th picks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. There was no clear pick for the Kings at 10, so they Kings put off making the decision and picked up additional assets.

As the Chicago Bulls selected Lauri Markannen and the Knicks selected Frank Ntilikina, we knew they Kings could have a shot at Dennis Smith Jr or Malik Monk. Smith was selected 9th by the Dallas Mavericks, and the Kings must not be enamored with Monk.

This could be a precursor to additional trades, or the Kings could take two more rookies and worry about trades later. Stay tuned, this could be a wild night for the Kings and their fans. We will continue to update as the night progresses on.

What do you think? Did the Kings get good value?
