The 2020 NBA Draft is finally upon us after a five-month delay. Today, dreams will be coming true. Hopefully, some of those belong to the Sacramento Kings. Here’s how to watch.
Draft Information

How to watch online: fubo TV, ESPN+
The draft will be taking place virtually, and commissioner Adam Silver and deputy commissioner Mark Tatum will be announcing the picks from the ESPN studios in Bristol, Connecticut. The Kings have four picks in today’s draft: their lottery pick at no. 12 and three second-round picks at no. 35, no. 43, and no. 52.
In the SB Nation Blogger Draft, the Kings selected Patrick Williams, a forward out of Florida State, but recent mock drafts have Williams repeatedly going to Detroit with the seventh pick. Instead of Williams, who has some offensive challenges, the Kings have been linked to a shooting specialist out of Vanderbilt, Aaron Nesmith. Nesmith only played 14 games for the Commodores because of a stress fracture he suffered in his right foot, but during his shortened season, he shot 52.2 percent on 8.2 3-point attempts per game. That combination of volume and efficiency is remarkable, but it comes with a small sample size.
Two mock drafts also have Sacramento taking Killian Hayes, a point guard who spent the last year in France. Although it might seem redundant to draft another lead guard when De’Aaron Fox is already on the Kings, having multiple playmakers on the floor is rarely a problem, and Fox thrived next to Bogdan Bogdanovic, another guard who likes to play with the ball in his hands. Hayes is also 6’5, which gives him the size to play the two next to Fox.
We’ve rounded up what the experts think Sacramento will do at no. 35, and beyond that is anybody’s guess. Go Kings!
