I know what you’re thinking. You think the 2016-17 NBA season is over. The champs were crowned, they’ve had the NBA Draft, and we’re ready to focus on free agency. But you’re wrong! Because the NBA is super duper smart, they’re having an award show tonight to hand out the awards for the season that ended two weeks ago. Even if the show turns out to be a huge success, the NBA needs to place it much earlier. But for now, let’s watch the show.

Personally, I’m really looking forward to the show itself. I’m excited to see Skal Labissiere sweep the awards. MVP? Skal. Most Improved? Skal. 6th Man? Skal. Coach of the Year? Skal. Defensive Player of the Year? Buddy Hield, surprisingly.

It should be a great night of entertainment that will definitely not be way too long and contrived.
