The headline pretty much says it all — The Rise Guys, who had looooong been in the 5-9 AM slot at KHTK 1140 AM, have moved to 6-10 AM. Jim Rome had the live 9-noon spot; now the first hour will be cut out and he'll run 10-noon, leading into the Don Geronimo Show at 12.

There's been no explanation I've seen for the move, and it seems folks at KHTK didn't really see it coming. Rome won't be pleased (he never is when stations cut his show short or tape-delay him), but more local content in the middle of the day is good.
