Kings Win 3 of 4 Quarters, Lose 99 to 81 because Kings

The Celtics had a dominant second quarter against Sacramento which helped carry them throughout the game. Tyreke Evans was the only real bright spot for Sacramento.

Sacramento dropped to 1-2 on this latest road trip tonight in Boston thanks to a disastrous second quarter. Boston hit their first 14 field goals in the quarter and finished 16/20 for the quarter. They scored 37 points in the quarter, meanwhile the Kings managed just 38 points for the entire half.

As for individual play, Paul Flannery sums up the situation nicely:

I will say, just on a personal level, the news of the Kings sale makes these blowout losses a bit easier to handle. Either the team is going to leave, and then none of these games matter, or the team stays with new awesome management that you know, actually manages the team and makes the necessary personnel changes.
