Kings vs. Lakers: How to watch and open thread

The Kings look to close out the preseason 4-0.
By | 0 Comments | Oct 14, 2021

The final tune-up for the Kings before the season will be tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers in Sacramento at The Golden 1 Center.

The Kings will be playing all of their regulars tonight according to head coach Luke Walton, who mentioned the other day he wanted the core players to get a lot of on court time together in the preseason finale. Marvin Bagley III, who is questionable with knee soreness only guy currently listed on the injury report for the Kings.

The Lakers list Trevor Ariza, Kendrick Nunn, Malik Monk, Talen Horton-Tucker and Wayne Ellington all as out for tonight’s game. It looks like the Lakers star trio of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook will suit up tonight, but it is unclear how much each will play.

The Lakers enter tonight’s contest at 0 and 5 in the preseason thus far.

It will be interesting to see how Walton deploys the starting lineup as well as different rotations tonight as it could very well be a trial run for what he plans to do when the season opens. What will the starting lineup be? How many three-guard sets will we see? Who is on the outside of the rotation looking in?

Tonight is the first game Kings fans will be able to watch on TV as the game will be broadcasted on NBC Sports California with the Kings debuting their new coverage team for the first time this season.
