The Sacramento Kings wrap up their four-game road trip with a matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Kings are coming off a 105-104 loss to the Miami Heat and are 8-11 through 19 games this season. De’Aaron Fox played great against Miami, racking up 30 points, six rebounds and six assists.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams. New Orleans beat Sacramento 128-123 on Jan. 19. The Pelicans have been struggling since starting the season 4-2. Stan Van Gundy’s team has won just three out of its last 12 contests.
The Kings have been better defensively as of late and are going up against a New Orleans team that ranks 19th in scoring. The Pelicans are one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the league, connecting on 34.3 percent of their attempts from beyond the arc.
Big men Richaun Holmes, Marvin Bagley III and Hassan Whiteside will need to be sharp rebounding the basketball against New Orleans. The Pelicans are fifth in offensive rebounds per game and fourth overall.
Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram have been a handful for the opposition this season. The young duo combines to average 47.5 points per game.
