Kings intend to bring back Casspi

A fan favorite seems likely to return

According to the Sacramento Bee's Ailene Voison, the Sacramento Kings have every intention to bring back swingman Omri Casspi. Casspi was originally drafted by the Kings, but left in a trade after failing to become the small forward of the future. Casspi returned last season as a bench contributor, and re-won the hearts of many Kings fans.

I'm not terribly worried about Fegan in this scenario. If anything, re-signing a Fegan client should help the relationship between the powerful agent and the Kings.

It's no surprise that Casspi wants to return, but it may be surprising that there's mutual interest. Some, myself included, assumed the Kings may look to replace Casspi with Corey Brewer, a free agent with experience under Karl. That said, Casspi probably comes at a better price.
