As a result of a strange CBA detail the Sacramento Kings find themselves with extra cap space for the next few months. Bobby Marks of ESPN reported the details via twitter.
As a result of the set-off in the waived contracts of Anthony Tolliver and Arron Afflalo, Sacramento carved out an additional $2M in cap space. The Kings now have $5.4M in room to use up until June 30. The new cap year will start on July 1.

Essentially what this means is that the Kings have a smaller cap hit than originally expected from waiving Anthony Tolliver and Arron Afflalo, and have $2 million in extra cap space through June 30th.
The Kings could use the space to take on contracts in predraft or draft day deals. If they don’t use the space it goes away as of July 1st.
