UPDATE: Sorry for failing to explain what these numbers mean. There are 14 ping pong balls, numbered 1-14. To begin the lottery, an NBA official draws four balls. That combination — and every combination except for 11-12-13-14 — is assigned to a team. If the first combination belongs to the Kings, we win the No. 1 pick. Order of the numbers does not matter — 2-7-8-9 is the same as 7-2-9-8. The balls go back in the cage after the first pick is awarded, and the same process goes for the No. 2 and 3 picks. The Kings have 156 of 1,000 valid combinations. These are those combinations.
