Kings announce 2016 Preseason Schedule

By | 0 Comments | Mar 6, 2019

In a little under three months, the Sacramento Kings will be back playing basketball in their shiny new home at the Golden 1 Center. For many of us, this will be the first time watching the Kings play basketball live anywhere that isn't in Natomas.

Sacramento will play six preseason games this October, with two of them coming at the Golden 1 Center. Sacramento's preseason home opener will take place on October 10th at 7:30 p.m. against Israel's Maccabi Haifa. That 7:30 p.m. start time might be the new norm for the Kings now that the team has moved downtown, as it's typically been reserved in the past for nationally televised games or against larger market teams.

Here's the full preseason schedule, including another Kentucky reunion although this time it will be against John Wall rather than Anthony Davis. All times listed are Pacific time.

Oct. 4th vs. Los Angeles Lakers 7 p.m. at Honda Center in Anaheim (Hey the Maloofs finally get to see the Kings play in Anaheim!)

Oct. 6th vs. Golden State Warriors 7:30 p.m. at SAP Center in San Jose

Oct. 10th vs. Maccabi Haifa 7:30 p.m. at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento

Oct. 13th vs. Los Angeles Lakers 7:30 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas

Oct. 15th vs. Washington Wizards 4 p.m. at Rupp Arena in Kentucky

Oct. 18th vs. Los Angeles Clippers 7:30 p.m. at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento
