Kings 113, Timberwolves 109: Aggressive Fox leads the way

Another big game from Fox
By | 0 Comments | Feb 4, 2020

The Sacramento Kings have a habit this season of playing down to their opponents, resulting in many losses to sub-par teams. The Kings nearly did it again tonight. After leading by 20+ points for most of the evening, the Kings completely unraveled and nearly lost the game. But a win is a win and we’ll take them where we can find them.

De’Aaron Fox has a marvelous game, finishing with 31 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals. Fox was aggressive and attacked the basket relentlessly.

Though Fox was the clear leader, it was a solid team performance by the Kings. Bogdan Bogdanovic finished with 23 points, Harrison Barnes had 14, Nemanja Bjelica had 12, and Buddy Hield added 16 off the bench.

The Kings now get a few days off before playing the Miami Heat on Friday. Richaun Holmes is expected to return to the court for that game. The trade deadline is Thursday, so it will be interesting to see if any of these players have played their last game as a King.
