We’ll have to put the brakes on the return of Harry Giles, who is not traveling with the squad for the preseason games in India because of left knee soreness.
Injury Update: @HGiiizzle (left knee soreness) and @tulis3 (right groin strain) will not travel with the team to India.

Along with Giles, newly signed guard Tyler Ulis is missing the trip.
Giles last saw basketball action against the Dallas Mavericks back in late March but he suffered a left thigh contusion that eventually kept him out for the season.
The second year (technically third) big also didn’t play in the Summer League, so it’s been more than six months since he’s seen the floor. Putting Giles on a long flight to India may not be the smartest thing to do for his health and that could’ve factored into the decision.
The Kings return from India to play the Phoenix Suns on October 10th where Giles could be ready to go.
