The CDC issued a new recommendation Sunday for no large events over 50 people for at least 8 weeks. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski followed that news by reporting that the NBA itself may not return until June, and the remaining season could extend into August.

CDC recommendation of no events of 50-plus people for next two months comes as a number of NBA owners and executives increasingly believe a best case scenario is a mid-to-late June return to play — with no fans. League's scouting for possible arena dates all the way thru August.

Update: Based on these recommendations, the GLeague season is likely over.
