We'll miss our old trusty High Emperor Orange Basketball that has carried us through the past six years and 10 months (!), but we embrace the future with His Lordship Sir Purple Basketball.

The important thing, however, is that His Lordship Sir Purple Basketball is simply the frosting of a giant delicious cake that is the next gen of Sactown Royalty and SB Nation.

To explain what I'm talking about, here's a note from SB Nation founder Tyler Bleszinski.
