Jason Reid of the Los Angeles Times reports that a Corey Maggette for Ron Artest swap is imminent:

At this point, there's no way a deal could go down and either player could compete by Friday, so I wouldn't imagine there are any restrictions time-wise. Actually, it might be efficient for everyone involved if the swap happened Friday, so Maggette could just join the Kings on their return trip from Staples. Either way, it's not like Los Angeles is that far from Sacramento.My fingers are tightly crossed – I have tickets for Saturday's Warriors game, and I'd love to see Maggette's Sactown debut.

In any case, it looks like this is going to happen. The LA Times does not just repeatedly print rumors for the hell of it.
