The Bee's Scott Howard-Cooper is reporting that candidates Stan Van Gundy and Kurt Rambis are scheduled to meet with the Maloofs regarding the Kings job.

Howard-Cooper also mentions the Kings are still expected to wait for Detroit's season to finish in order to interview Terry Porter.

What's this tell me? Porter's their guy, unless/until Porter tells Petrie no. Based on their personal relationship, I'd assume Petrie would already know if Porter wasn't interested. Which mean Porter's his guy, but Van Gundy and Rambis are options 2a and 2b if something happens.
