The American Invasion

By | 0 Comments | Feb 14, 2019

For what was once the most European team in the NBA, the most foreign land any of Sacramento's players come from in Albuquerque.

In fact, here's a listing of our players' hometowns:

Phoenix, Ariz.; Kendallville, Ind.; Marietta, Ga.; Queensbridge, NY; Muncie, Ind.; Zanesville, Ohio; Albuquerque, NM; Temple, Texas; Russellville, Ark.; Inglewood, Calif.; Bronx, NY; Santa Ana, Calif.; Friendswood, Texas.

Technically, Francisco Garcia is from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

But still. When a Dominican that went to high school in The Bronx and played college ball at Louisville is your most foreign player, you're one American team.

Consider this an argument for ditching the gold unis for the red, white and blue throwbacks.
