The Philadelphia Daily News calls it: Chris Webber takes $37 million to pack up and go home.

This could've been the Kings. Thank goodness it wasn't, because the Maloofs would not have bought him out, and his salary would be choking any attempts at salary cap flexibility this offseason. (Also, Ron Artest would've punched him by now.)

I don't want to see Webber back in purple – not because I don't like him, but because he is D-U-N done. His shooting is terrible, his defense is worse, his speed is nonexistant, and his propensity to think he's still bigtime is huge. Not a good combination.

Maybe he can help some offense out there, though. Who knows?
